2. Activating Scanning Mode: With your sales order set up, you enable Scanning Mode in the Canix application. This mode allows you to continuously scan package tags using your scanner, with each tag scanned automatically logged into the sales order. By using scanning mode, your sales order will mirror the order of the items scanned.
3. Scanning Package Tags: You begin scanning the package tags for the items on the sales order. As you scan each tag, Canix verifies its validity and allocates it to the appropriate line item. For instance, when you scan the tag for a package of Blueberry Gummies, Canix instantly matches it with the corresponding line item on the sales order.
4. Handling New Items: During the scanning process, you realize that an additional product—Strawberry Gummies—was requested by the dispensary but wasn’t initially added to the order. With the Automatic Add Items toggle enabled, you simply scan the tag, and Canix automatically adds a new line item for the Strawberry Gummies to the sales order.
